Swan Lake

A modern version of the most famous ballet of all time. Ján Ďurovčík strips Tchaikovsky's score back to what has always been underneath it — a story about the impossible distance between what we are and what we are asked to become.

The lake is not a place in this production. It is a state the dancers move through, built from water, light and a company pushed to the edge of what the body can hold.
